Here is some wicked video from this years Barcelona World Race, this is footage from the day that Alex Thomson and Andrew Cape broke the 24 hour distance record, which stands at 501 nm now.

Alex is very happy with this record as it shows how good his Hugo Boss sponsored boat is. Alex previously held the record anyway in the old Hugo Boss, what is remarkable with this new record is that the average wind speed was a lot less than the previous record.
